Saint John's newest hostel is getting new neighbours... and we can't wait! There's been a fair bit of buzz going on about what will be happening with the old buildings right across the street from us. These guys are standing between the hostel and Saint John's beautiful waterfront; originally home to Fisheries and Oceans as well as the Coast Guard, they have been vacant for some time and were just recently been sold to the province. Two of the buildings will be getting demolished this month to give us a (temporary) ocean view. Plans are in the works for a brand new museum to be built on this site and the first glimpse of the concept drawings have been released. Take a look below!

So why are we excited?? This such is an exciting architectural addition to our city and will add so much life to an already fantastic port. I'm also excited about the events the museum is working on for their current location as well as the for the new building. Young adult nights (craft beer included!), artistic nights, and more. So excited for this to become a major part of Saint John's fabric!
